London Olympics opening ceremony highlights

The London 2012 Games are officially under way after a spectacular opening ceremony
at the Olympic Stadium directed by Danny Boyle. Legions of performers put on a
dazzling pageant celebrating all things British – from the industrial revolution to
the NHS, Mr Bean and James Bond leaping from a helicopter with the Queen. (Due to

Oscar Pistorius - The Blade Runner
As a somewhat extreme example of how technology can improve today's athletes,
South African runner Oscar Pistorius, a double amputee below the knees, runs on
carbon fiber blades named "Flex-Foot Cheetahs."
